When I first saw the advertisement for DRS I was very skeptical. How could this procedure correct my neck problems when surgery had failed and my medical doctors kept telling me there was nothing they could do for me. But at that point my pain was so severe I had very little movement in my neck and I was withdrawing from life, so I had virtually nothing to lose and everything to gain.

I have been in pain for the past twenty years with my back. I would go to a Chiropractor and it helped for a little while and finally it just wasn’t helping at all. The only way that I had no pain was to just sit in a chair and not move around much. As soon as I would get up out of the chair, I would have to stand there for a little while just to get my legs to move. I could not and did not do any activity at all. For the past couple of years I have had pain in my right leg mostly around the right ankle and from the right hip down the side of my leg. It was getting worse and worse. I was not able to walk for any distance and driving was really hard for me, because of using my right foot on the gas pedal and brake. My activities were very limited by my pain.

My Medical doctor ordered and MRI and it showed that I had spinal stenosis that was causing the pain. I tried chiropractic and physical therapy but it did not help. I have had severe low back pain for six to seven years, every doctor I went to suggested pain pills or surgery and I didn’t want either, so I just put up with the pain. I couldn’t ride my motorcycle for long periods of time (Short rides were all that I could tolerate).

I could not participate in any of the sports that I used to do such as skiing and golfing. Because of the pain I became very inactive.
